Our latest event Wear it pink at WuChi in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign was a success.  Thank you to everyone who found time to attend and support this cause. We all had a great time and it was a pleasure to meet everyone.

WuChi Connecting on Social Media

With businesses and everyone going social media mania, like twitter, flickr, blogger, and Facebook we do not want to be left out so we decided to create a WuChi by Maks fan page on Facebook where we can connect, talk more and share more behind the scene information with our subscribers and customers about our products and what we are doing. Hopefully to build a closer interactive relationship.

Although it takes a while to get used to and eventually learn /understand how to manage all the social media sites we still took the plunge. Recently we just discovered tweet deck which some how seems to make it a bit simpler by having three of the most used social media sites in one.. twitter, Facebook and my-space; on it you can post and see everything all in one. Please don't ask me for more information because we are still getting used to the new gizmo's and getting used to the newly acquired freedom of speech.

However, this will all take a while and some getting used to.

Soap Making fun Day@ WuChi

These are the images from our latest Soap making workshop. This workshop however had kids in attendance.

We decided to add a kiddies fun workshop day to our workshops due to demand from parents wanting creative activities for their children
so we decided to create one.

We all had a lovely fun day making soaps coloring them adding botanicals and making different shapes. Wow!

Who better to make the perfect audience at one of our Soap making workshop but kids. Their feed back is absolute and they say it just as it is. They all had beautiful handmade soaps to take home. We got their creative minds buzzing. Well, For me it was therapeutic to watch them happy, excited and make their own soaps by hand to take home and as presents for members of their family.

I took photos of our latest soaps in the curing rack they look so beautiful I thought I would share the images with you. Although it takes 4-6 weeks to cure properly before they are ready to use.

Thank you to everyone who visited our stand at the recent Natural & Organic product exhibition on 5-6th April 2009 at Olympia London.

It was nice to meet old friends, colleagues, buyers, therapist and new business associates.

It was also a chance to make new friends and establish new business relationships.

We hope you all had a nice time at the show, even though there was so much to look at and too much to take in , in a space of two days. It was still a pleasure to meet you all. We look forward to establishing new business relationships and stockist to represent our luxury skincare brand.

2009- Stormy Weather

It is very scary what the economy is becoming, people are scared, i am scared.

Every where you go and on the news daily it is news about businesses being affected one way or the other by the economic downturn.Sadly, many companies are folding up and a lot of people have become jobless.

It is sad that companies like Woolworths are no more(best for children costumes)

2009 is going to be a very though year for us small business owners and everyone else.We have not seen the end of it yet.

Bootstrapping, re-inventing yourself and a yes i(we) can attitude to ride the storm should be on everyone's to do list just like mine.
